RFQ Checklist

Front strut assembly

Send a compact request that compares left/right side, body interface and spring inclusion before factories are asked for comparable quotes.

RFQ Checklist decision points

Product

Name the front strut assembly family, left or right side, compressed and extended length, spring seat, top-mount and bearing requirements. Provide OE reference only as an identification aid.

Quantity

State count on a pieces-by-corner basis and list whether spring, mount, boot and insulator travel with a loaded assembly. Minimum order quantity is a supplier answer, not a figure invented here.

Destination

Include country, US state or ZIP, requested timing and, if already chosen, Incoterms. Gross package weight and packing unit affect freight comparison and should be requested with the quote.

Open choices

Note optional budget (currency and per-unit or total-order), supplier preference (high-end, mid-range, budget, undecided) and remaining mount or damping questions. Preferences are buyer trade-offs, not verified factory grades.

Front strut side and body interface

Agree whether the inquiry covers a loaded front strut assembly or a bare strut unit. Ask for drawings that show knuckle bolt pattern, spring seat diameter and top-mount clocking for left versus right. Catalog cross-references are starting points; suppliers must confirm geometry and ride-height targets for the quoted reference.

Specification files to request

Decisions that must stay explicit on the RFQ

This checklist does not assert that Ridepoint Sourcing owns tooling, a laboratory or completed factory audits. Leaf springs and unverified air-suspension conversions stay outside this RFQ. Source keyword tables used for planning were dated 2026-06-01 and do not predict current inquiry volume.

Submit the front strut checklist

Include quantity, order unit and destination, plus the front strut side and interface questions still open.
